One of the best collegeS in Mumbai for core engineering

Well-stocked library with study materials for even competitive exams. Most of faculty members are good in civil. Its autonomy is one of the main advantage. Infrastructure is improving but campus is beautiful. May suffer due to adhoch or temporary faculties. Internship and industrial exposure are provided along with various seminars and site visit. Also guidance for competitive exams are provided

Good college, can be better

The college is autonomous, hence they have complete control on their syllabus and exams. The faculty earlier used to be mostly ad-hoc, but now it comprises of only the senior faculty, who have a good command on their subjects. Scope of doing projects or research is narrow, in my opinion. If you want good grades only, this college is for you, but if you want better labs and facilities, it is better to opt for some private college.

SPCE review considering all aspects

The college campus and infrastructure is quite good, considering it is more than 50 years old. The course pattern and syllabus is much relaxing as compared to other Mumbai University Engineering colleges. SPCE also has a good record of campus placement.

Chilled out campus life. A lot of extracurricular activities. Intelligent campus crowd, easily approachable. Professors are highly experienced and everyone is down to earth. They are always ready to help. The campus surroundings are full of greenery. Metro station is nearby. Hostel facilities are decent and the mess has great food.
