Sapthagiri College Of Engineering is affiliated to VTU University Belagavi, The college offers Graduate, Post Graduate and Research Programme,The institute is situated amongst the lush green ambience and has a vision of “Integral development of students and empowering them for social transformation”. Bachelor of Engineering (Civil Engineering) - Candidates should have a cleared PUC or 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics, English, Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Electronics from any recognized board and should have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate marks. -
Master of Technology (Computer Science & Engineering) - Candidates should be a BE graduate or equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from any recognized board. -
Master of Technology (VLSI Design & Embedded Systems) - Candidates should be a BE graduate or equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from any recognized board. -

Placement

The Placement Department of Sapthagiri College help students to develop their Intrapersonal skills and abilities  to enhance their personality as well as help them get placed in reputed organization.

Infrastructures

The college offers good infrastructural facilities that includes hostel facilities for both girls and boys, library, sports equipments, cafeteria, ATM, amphitheatre, etc.

Classroom

All classrooms well equipped.

Laboratory

CD Laboratory is equipped with 3 computers & with a collection of 159 CDs. Students can use this facility during their leisure time, thus Providing all the information and helping the students and faculty for their over all development and growth, our Library acts as a catalyst for turning out our students as quality engineers.

Library

The Center is equipped with over 12,370 volumes, 2756 Titles,2707 Journals,9663 Issues, 32 National Journals and 24 International Journals, covering all branches, Encyclopedias, Dictionaries, Hand Books, Data Books etc., and the College Library has subscribed for IEL-Online Journals through INDEST-AICTE Consortium. Multiple copies ensure that resources are easily available for reference in the reference library division.

Retarded College. Don't go there and Regret for everything.

No authorities are concerned for the betterment of the college, and have put down the college in every aspect like education, college environment, placement (the worst of all). They even don't respect parents and neither care about students' future. Worst case is the racism between Hindi speaking and Southee students; always Hindi-speaking people are made to feel inferior as if they garbage over here. Talking about the education, now the time has changed, they focus more on getting unqualified faculties as they don't want to put their budget on faculties' salary. Almost all the experienced faculties have already left the college due to behavior of the management and Indisciplined Principal. Arrogant and mannerless Placement Officer who is criticised by every outsiders who knows her, has successfully put the college very down in the rankings. Hardly some company come where they hire 2-3 people. All mass recruiters have already blacklisted the college. Think of the situation of the college where all top faculties and HoDs have already resigned and left this college in recent 2-3 years. Principal and Placement Officer are the backbone of any college and this college has broken Back-bone due to which whole organization is paralyzed. It's just business organization (as they already have many more business organization along with this business organization so called "college") where there is no quality education and neither any concerns for students' future. College should have negative rating but couldn't have option for that so least.

College review

It’s a good college with probably the best possible facilities for machines and also power field. Professors are really good. Mostly they are friendly and approachable. Research opportunities are really awesome. Some professors even send students for technical internships. It’s a pretty cool experience over there. The only problem of concern is competitive atmosphere. Mostly, the pressure is high over there. But if handled properly it can certainly be managed properly and you can spend some of the best time of your life there.

Not a great college

The college is average. The college does not give importance to extracurricular activities. They only want attendance from the students, no matter what. They do not conduct any kind of workshops for knowledge. Like other colleges, we have many events. However, even the fests are boring with no proper band or DJ being called to perform here.

An Average Engineering College with Sufficient Facilities!

The college has only one volleyball court. The campus is very small. Most of the students don't know what to do during free hours as there is nothing to do here. The crowd is Hindi speaking with very few students managing to speak in English. The teachers themselves cannot speak good English. The college lab manuals etc have way too many spelling mistakes! This shows the level of English here. Very few companies visit here. Most of the companies mentioned above had come for pool placements. Not specifically for sapthagiri College. In short, join this college only if you want to concentrate on your studies. There are no extracurricular activities as such. It's a very small college with average faculty. But the good thing here is its peaceful. Another good thing is that there are no fines collected from students. It's a good place to study but with no much activities and a crowd which doesn't understand English, it gets very boring.
