The Rustamji Institute of Technology (RJIT), is the first Engineering College in India established by a Para Military Force. Due to deployment of the bulk of the Border Security Force (BSF) personnel in militancy affected areas, the majorities of the force personnel stay separated from their families and are unable to look after the education of their children. A number of personnel are laying down their lives in the fight against anti national elements every day. The Rustamji Institute of Technology (RJIT) has been set up with the objective of giving an opportunity to the children of serving BSF personnel as well as for those who have laid down their lives in service to the nation, for acquiring higher technical qualification. The Border Security Force education fund sponsored the development of the institute.

Bachelor of Engineering (Information Technology) - B.E. First-year a candidate should have passed 12th Class exam of 10+2 scheme of any recognized Board or University (with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, separately passing each subject). The Admission to all undergraduate courses is provided through M.P. State level counseling conducted by RGPV. Bhopal and Director of Technical Education, Bhopal. All the Eligibilities and qualifications fixed by state Government are applicable -

Bachelor of Engineering (Automobile Engineering) - B.E. First year a candidate should have passed 12th Class exam of 10+2 scheme of any recognized Board or University (with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, separately passing each subject). The Admission to all undergraduate courses is provided through M.P. State level counseling conducted by RGPV. Bhopal and Director of Technical Education, Bhopal. All the Eligibilities and qualifications fixed by state Government are applicable. -
Master of Computer Applications - A candidate seeking admission to MCA course should be a graduate of any UGC/ AICTE approved Indian University or from a foreign University recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) or institute recognized by the concerned University as equivalent thereto . The Bachelor’s degree must be of minimum three years duration in any discipline with Mathematics as compulsory or an additional subject at either higher Secondary (10+2) or at Graduation level. Admission to MCA courses is done through M.P. state level Counseling conduction by RGPV, Bhopal,and Direction of Technical Education, Bhopal. All the eligibilities and qualification fixed by State Government are applicable. -

Good college to pursue further degree

Good college to pursue further degree. Good transportation facilities. Friendly teachers. Location is far away from Gwalior city. Surrounding is safe, clean and peaceful. Easy access to public transport. Well maintained labs. Library is huge. Canteen serves good food. Hostels are well maintained. Extracurricular activities takes place on a regular basis. Fest is organised every year. Placements are offered from reputed companies. Salary package is good. Open discussions, group projects and presentations are organised regularly. Teachers are helpful and supportive. They are highly experienced. Overall the college is good.

No problem with anything but improvements are required at some places

Good transportation good faculties great experience. I am a third year student and it is a nice college to persuade further degrees. People can join but less placement opportunities this year. Cooperative teachers good infrastructure and great people.

Training and placement cell process

The college's placement cell does not working effectively. There are various conveyance issues for the students in college, there's a need for a good transport facility. The students have to be on their own, in the job placement section. The training and placement cell requires massive improvement.

Anything can be made better if the authority wants to

My college is quite good but the placement opportunities provided by this college are not up-to the mark. This year no company came to our campus. At least higher authorities should focus on this placement issue instead of doing Rangoli competition and all.
