One of the best college under Mumbai University

Best college in Navi Mumbai and third rank college in Mumbai division. Placement:Almost 90% students get placed in good firms, who have maintained 60% aggregate. And rest have to try hard, as only few seats goes for below 60%. Crowd: Decent crowd. You would find mixture of crowd. From hard coders to music and dance lovers. Extracurricular activities are highly motivated.

I chose RAIT because of its impeccable placement record. On the first day, I expected to be ragged but nothing of that sort happened. And throughout the four years, no incident of ragging happened with my juniors also. The infrastructure and the quality of teaching staff of RAIT are superior to most MU colleges. In the four years of college, I learnt plenty of skills not only to solve academic problems but also life problems.

Engineering with fun and exceptional opportunities!

The college has decent placements for IT and computer students. For electronics and EXTC, the placement is below average and for instrumentation people, it is rare to find a job in the core industry through the campus recruitment. There are excellent jobs in MNCs but only for IT people. The maximum package is 14 to 18 LPA. The average salary one can get is 3.15 LPA. RAIT has one of the best infrastructures in the whole Mumbai. It has almost all the things that a student can ask in an engineering college. If it is not there one can ask the higher authorities to purchase it. The college has well-organized classrooms and laboratories. But for instrumentation people, some equipment might be missing. The college has Wi-Fi facility and has excellent speed with required security. The library has been improved in the last 2-3 years. There is tough competition in sports. Faculty : The faculty members of this college are well-qualified and knowledgeable too. There are exceptions for the faculty members also. But most of the professors are helpful. Attendance is not a priority here if you are taking part in extracurricular activities or in sports. RAIT is now using new technology in teaching which allows using digital board. The student-faculty ratio is 20:1.
