Rajiv Gandhi Indian Institute of Management (RGIIM) is situated in the nature valley of Shillong. Placement
Rajiv Gandhi Indian Institute of Management (RGIIM) provides placement in national and international industry. The institute provides training facility by conducting mock interview, industry expert lecture, group discussions etc. RGIIM has a special committee for placement who take care about student’s placement. The institutes provide placement in Chinese companies through their Ind-china management programme.
Infrastructures
IIM Shillong surrounded by pine trees, lush green lawn and the kaleidoscopic mountains in the backdrop creates an aura of stunned silence amidst nature. Within the heart of Shillong city, the IIMS campus showcases a tranquil environment where the students can concentrate in their regular activities. The institute is currently functioning from a temporary campus in the Mayurbhanj Complex (the erstwhile summer palace of Mayurbhanj Kings). The Campus includes a main building wherein the administrative office, faculty offices, classrooms, library and conference halls are housed. Apart from the main building, the Institute also has an auditorium, guesthouse, number of small syndicate rooms (separate) and student dormitories within the campus. Faculty residences are situated just adjacent to the campus.
Classroom
All the class rooms are aesthetically designed with high tech infrastructure and are fully equipped with modern facilities to help participants in their learning process. Each class room has a smart board with Internet connectivity. This relieves the participants from jotting down class notes, and instead concentrate on the discussion. The Institute has an state of art IT infrastructure with latest equipments to facilitate all its present and upcoming activities. Both wired and wireless network serve as the backbone for the techno savvy faculty and students to assist in their regular work requirements.

The Institute has developed a modern Knowledge Resource Centre with interdisciplinary focus on books, periodicals, national and international journals, working papers and dissertations. It also caters to a number of online databases.
