Praveenya Institute of Marine Engineering & Maritime Studies is affiliated to Andhra University and approved by All India Council for Technical Education. The institute mission is to promote maritime education and training in the region and is to open up new avenues in areas of maritime training and R & D in maritime sector with an emphasis on reinforcing the industry–institute bond for the benefit of the society, nation and the international maritime community at large.

Bachelor of Engineering (Marine Engineering)	-	The candidate should have passed 10+2 with PCM average of not less than 60% or equivalent from any recognized board or Completed 1st Year B.E. from any AICTE approved Engineering College. Selection will be based as per the university norms	-
Graduate Mechanical Engineering	-	The candidates should have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in English language at 10th or 12th Std or in the Degree/ Diploma course conducted by recognized Board or any University.	-

Good college for Marine Engineering

College is located near modavalasa, peaceful place 30 kms away from vizag, free from pollution. The only marine engineering college in both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Here B.E Marine engineering and Graduate Marine Engineering are the two courses offered.
