P.G.D.A.V. college has been providing excellent education. It has thirteen departments engaged in offering undergraduate courses of the University of Delhi in Arts, Sciences and Commerce and Computer Science. Four of these Departments register students at the Master's level for tutorial classes which supplement the M.A. lecture classes held at the University of Delhi.

Infrastructures

The College has a 3 storeyed building, with spacious and well-maintained rooms and a backup generator for the entire college that assures uninterrupted power supply. P.G.D.A.V. college has a lush green play field and is the most sought after ground in the university

The college has two well maintained state-of-art computer laboratories.

Library

A well equipped computerized library, with more than 70,000 books, wide range of research journals and magazines along with internet facilities are available to all the students of the college.

My faculty which is the best one

The faculty of political science of PGDAV college is the one of the best faculties in the Delhi University. Our professors treat us like their friends which diminishes the hesitation among the students to ask the doubts regarding their career and studies. I would recommend my college if you want to pursue graduation in political science.

About College, staff and departments

The college is average for studies. The college is the best. The area around the college is average. There is no hostel. The campus crowd is average. Average extracurricular activities are organised. The college should provide internships. The faculty is good and but the teaching methodologies can be better.

PGDAV College, Delhi University Review

Good college, it is located a little far from the Moolchand metro station. There are several cafes, printing shops and book shops near the college. Canteen serves good variety of food, the taste is good and the price is low. Classrooms are well maintained. The faculties are good and hard working, they really help students with their doubts in the subject. They are highly qualified. Non-teaching staff is rude and ignorant sometimes. Co-curricular activities are encouraged. Some of the students are good, while some of them are not. Placement cell is good, but not supported by the college management.

One of the best in south campus

PGDAV COLLEGE, Nehru Nagar is considered to be one of the most prestigious colleges in whole DU. It has a really good faculty for commerce stream and the placement cell is working really well. The teaching staff for BSc is very good. The active societies are really amazing and have a good reputation such as RUDRA-Street play society and NAVRANG-Theatre society have won MOOD INDIGO (IIT BOMBAY). The crowd is decent and the campus is renovating. With awesome location it's near lajpat Nagar market and Amar colony.

Average college with limited resources and scope

The facilities is quite good. But all the teachers are not good. The lab facility is really poor. They don't teach us and elaborate properly. The library is average. Campus is too far from metro and connectivity is very bad and due to construction every where the surrounding is also not good.
