Private University Estd. 1952 NIRF #1 (Medical) 2024North Eastern Regional Institute of Management (NERIM) was found in the year 1992 as a post graduate college by the NERIM Educational Society. The Govt of Assam and the Department of Technical Education initially extended its active support for the establishment of this institute with a view to promote Management and Computer Science Education in the North Eastern Region of the Country. The institute provides quality education with experienced faculty members.

| Master of Business Administration (Part Time) | - | A candidate who (i) possess a Bachelor Degree of the University or any other recognised university and (ii) having 2 years experience at Supervisory Level in any Governmant, Semi Government or Non-Government Organisation shall be eligible to apply for admission into First Year Part Time MBA course. Self Employed persons having above mentioned qualification and experience shall also be considered for the admission purpose. | - |

The institute's infrastructure is well equipped with all the modern facilities.
Laboratory
College has 3 well equipped Computer Labs having 185 number of computers with 2 servers, which includes latest machines and offers state of the art computing facilities to the students with 1:1 ratio for student and computer. All machines are connected by (LAN) with 24 hours Internet facility. The Laboratories provide ample time and opportunity to the students for gaining practical efficiency in this field.
Library
The Institute has a library enriched with around 10000 titles on Management, Computer Science, Tourism and allied subjects of Indian and Foreign publications. The Library subscribes around 35 numbers of journals including International Journals and Periodicals viz. Harvard Business Review, International Journal of Research in Marketing, Human Resource Management Review, Journal of Applied Psychology, Vikalpa, Indian Journal of Industrial Relations, Finance India etc. to name a few.
