Nishitha College of Engineering and Technology

Nishitha College of Engineering Technology is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad and approved by AICTE. The college provides Bachelor of Technology, Master of Technology, Master of Computer Application and Master of Business Administration course. This Institution is a vision envisaged by a visionary called Mr. C.Vinaya Kumar, with an aim to translate our society into knowledge based society.

Placement Cell has been constituted with the placement officer and representative’s form all the branches in the college. For companies visiting our campus for placements, to make presentation about their company profile and selection process, a seminar hall with LCD, System and Mike arrangements is made available. For conducting the written test, we are having 2 drawing halls with a capacity of 60 students each. For conducting Group Discussions and Interviews, Institute have 2 Conference Halls and other rooms. A Placement & Training cell has been established for training the students and organizing placement of students in various Industrial, Business and Service Organizations, in the Fourth year.

The main accommodation for the Institute consists of an architecturally well designed four storey building of about 80,000 sq.ft. It has ceramic flooring throughout. The college has already initiated plans to take advantage of its location to provide vital inputs to the students of the college. The campus provided an idyllic pollution free environment for nurturing excellence.

Classroom

There are specious well ventilated class rooms' LCD Projectors, Overhead projectors and tutorial classes. Thirty (32) class rooms each of 66 sq. mtrs. are available Twelve(13) Tutorial Halls each 36 sq.mtrs. are available.

Laboratory

Providing students with Laboratory Instructions. And lab advisors for advising and guiding the students. Marks allotted for each experiment. A student Information System will be maintained to give the Static and Dynamic information about each student at any given time, to the parents or authorities. Fully equipped EDC Lab available with ample experimental and guidance facilities. The EDC lab is equipped to accommodate 30 students at a time. As the need of language acquisition and communication

Library

The College Library has about 15,000 books, in addition there are a number of journals and technical magazines which enable the students to improve their General knowledge in the area of specialization. The library also stocks a number of subject CD's. There is a facility for the students to borrow a CD or get it copied at a nominal price. Internet facility are also provided in the library, with a provision that they are used strictly for Academic purposes.
