The NIIT University, a not-for-profit institution, is sponsored by NIIT Limited.It is an acknowledged institution in learning content development and the application of IT to enhance learning.NIIT Imperia uses synchronous learning technology to deliver Executive Management Education from IIMs across India. NIIT Ltd. has been at the forefront of imparting training to ensure skills-sets in line with industry requirements. Its courses in IT, Banking, Finance, Insurance, Communication Skills and Management have built satisfying careers so far.

Course Curriculum

Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) 0
  • 60% marks or equivalent in Class X in five subjects (compulsory subjects - English, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies. The fifth can be a subject of applicant’s choice). The board can be CBSE/ ICSE/ any other board in India or an equivalent board if from a country outside India.
  • 60% marks in Class XII in five subjects (compulsory subjects - Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology (PCM/ PCB) & English. The fifth can be a subject of applicant’s choice). The board can be any recognized board in India or an equivalent board if from a country outside India. In case you are from ISC board or have taken four subjects, aggregate of four subjects will be considered.
  • 60% marks in PCM in Class XII if you are opting for CSE or ECE streams and in PCB, PCM or PCMB if you are choosing BT.
  • Should be appearing in the board examination in March/April 2017 or should have the necessary mark sheets if you have appeared in 2015 or 2016.
  • Should have JEE Main/ BITSAT/ SAT/ any other State Engineering Entrance Examination’s rank/ score otherwise the applicant will be required to appeared in the NIIT University Engineering Test (NUET).

  • Accepting NU Admission Offer
  • Enrolling for the programme
  • Registering for the programme by arriving on campus

Placement

NU has an enviable placement record of 97.3 % for Placement Year 2016 and an overall placement record of 97.58 % since inception. Both figures exclude students who ahave opted out because of Higher Studies/Entrepreneurship/Research/Ineligibility, etc.

Some organizations where students were placed are Cleartax, IBM, Amazon, Cognizant, Grant Thornton, Vodafone, Pay U India, PwC, Sapient, Tech Mahindra, Shopclues, Urban Clap, NIIT Technologies, InfoPeople, etc.

Infrastructures

The University is located in a 75-acre campus at Neemrana, Rajasthan, about 100 km from Delhi on NH-8. Nestled in the Aravali hills, the fully residential green campus offers an idyllic and intellectually vibrant environment for pursuing higher education and research.

The fully residential NU campus is designed to have all facilities that are needed to lead an enriched life. They span from numerous outdoor and indoor sports facilities to 24 x 7 tuck shops and ATMs.

The academic facilities include labs and libraries and a Wi-Fi campus providing access to the internet via PCs, laptops and mobile devices.

Overall a good institution for MBA and Engineering both

If you get a high CGPA then there are higher chances of you getting a good placement. The college surroundings are spectacular, it is full of greenery. There are two hostels and even the dining rooms are good. The campus crowd is good and there are a lot of tourist attractions.
