Infrastructures

The college is built on an area of 2.5 acres out of 7acres which is in the possession of the college. The built area is 9546. 54 sq.ft. There are 35 classrooms and 14 laboratories. An estate officer takes care of the infrastructure.

Classroom

The college have 25 class rooms, departmental staffroom to cater to teaching/learning needs. College have a multi-media video conferencing hall ( seating capacity-190) and an AV Seminar hall (seating capacity-100) all lectures/Seminars/project presentations are held. They are all well equipped.

Laboratory

All the departments are equipped with computers, printers, Xerox machines and audio-visual teaching aids. Internet facility is available in the Computer Science department.

Library

The library is well equipped with comfortable furniture. The books are classified and displayed clearly. It is well lit and ventilated. The Library has Internet facilities available both to the students and the faculty. The E-library is equipped with computers, educational CD’s which are used by students & teachers. Internet and photocopying facilities are available throughout the working hours.

The National Degree College Review

It is basically an autonomous college. The syllabus is updated regularly. Students do not get specific text books to study from, they have to depend on their notes due to which they gain minimum knowledge. The college management is strict regarding attendance and discipline. Minimum 75% of the attendance is mandatory. Extracurricular activities are organised regularly. Students are encouraged to participate and develop certain skills.

Old school methods, value oriented

Let me start first with Pros - Good teaching atmosphere, emphasis on cultural activities, faculty encourages toward ur personal development and good library. Cons - Very old infrastructure not well maintained as well, faculty needs to upgrade to today's needs & requirement of industry better emphasis on discipline is required.
