The National Defence Academy of India is a joint services academy where cadets of the three wings Army, Navy and Air Force are trained together before they go for their pre-commission training to their respective academies.

Infrastructures
NDA has an excellent infrastructure for all-round training of cadets and vast array of facilities.
Classroom
The college has Spacious and well maintained classrooms.
Laboratory
Institute has well equipped labs with modern facilities.
Library
The NDA has a well stocked library providing yeoman service as a repository of knowledge and information. The library has over 76912 titles housed in two stacks on the ground floor. The reading room is situated on the first floor. The library subscribes to 55 Indian and 11 foreign magazines in addition to 10 newspapers. Within the reading room a section is reserved for cadets surfing the internet and browsing through an updated collection of CD-ROMS.
