The College started initially with a Commerce stream by enrolling 330 students on July 23, 1983. Subsequently, it started the Arts stream in 1988-89. Nagindas Khandwala College of Commerce, Arts and Management Studies is affiliated to University of Mumbai (Bombay). The college offers Bachelor of Arts, Commerce, Science, Computer Applications and Management, Master of Science, Commerce, Arts, Computer Applications, Business Administration and Diploma course. Placement
College set up Career Guidance and Placement cell for the learners with an objective of preparing fresh dynamic and talented graduates for the various industries. The college has been successful in conducting preliminary round of Interviews at college level for final year students. Many companies have been actively participating in placement process... College prepare its students for the final placement by organising various activities such as Interview, Dress Skill, Group Discussion and Personal Interview, Resume making etc.
Infrastructures
Nagindas Khandwala College campus is situated in the Metropolitan city of India Mumbai. The campus of the college is surrounded by lush green environment which creates a scenic atmosphere for the academics. College has a well constructed building which comprises spacious classrooms, well deigned seminar room, packed library with books, Wi-Fi connectivity, and computer lab for providing practical knowledge to students. College has a separate chill- out area where students can take a break and play table tennis or pool, Cafeteria where students can chat and eat scrumptious food.
Classroom
College has spacious classrooms well equipped with LCD projection systems and Wi-Fi enabled. Nagindas Khandwala College also has an air-conditioned audio visual conference hall, auditorium where guest lectures’ and seminars are organised.
Laboratory
College has various laboratories in their premises. The labs of the college assist students in their experiments and projects. The computer lab of the college comprises scanner, printer latest high speed computers, Internet, Wi-Fi, and Projectors etc.
Library
The Library and Information Centre (LIC) is the heart of all academic activities of the college. The LIC is rich with collection on varied subjects. The LIC supports junior, degree and masters, and doctoral degrees/courses. The LIC has helped in establishing department libraries. Presently the LIC has collection of a huge number of books, CD-ROMs and 120 journals and 40 online journals. The library follows Open Access System (OAS) in order to save the time of the reader as well as staff.
