Library

Students are enrolled as members of the Library, on filling up the application form available at the Library counter. Membership is to be renewed every year. Four readers tickets are issued to a student. Books are issued to the students from 3.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. Generally Books are issued for a period of Fourteen days. Student must satisfy himself/herself about the condition of the book before receiving it. He/She will be held responsible for damage or mutilation noticed at the time of retur

The college is located in a reputed area. Satyaniketan market is very near. Easy access to public transport. 24/7 free WiFi facility. Great crowd. Students are humble and kind. Helpful seniors. No ragging. Excellent infrastructure. Huge library. Washrooms are well maintained with proper sanitation. There are no hostels in the campus. Seniors come to all classes & announces the dates for all sort of co-curricular activities. Placement cell is recently developed. It is active and provides the best placements. Teachers are regular and active. They explain every topic in detail. They are friendly and kind. They are highly knowledgeable.

Life at Motilal Nehru College

Placements : There was no placement cell till last year in my college. Last year, one of the student of our college was selected in the central campus placement conducted by DU. The packages in the central placement cell starts from 2 lakhs per annum and goes up to 8 lakhs per annum. Companies like HCL Technologies, Genpact, Wipro, Accenture and TATA Capital have already given job offers to hundreds of students. The highest package last year was 8 lakhs per annum. As the students from different courses were offered jobs, so jobs were provided to them according to their specialisation. Infrastructure : The infrastructure of the college is good as the facilities of Wi-Fi, library, labs, etc. are provided. Classrooms are good and well maintained, all the equipment are working well. Computer lab has all well-conditioned computers. The Wi-Fi facilities are sometimes disrupted due to technical barriers. The canteen is available in the college and the quality of food is good. No, I haven't faced any infrastructure issues till now in my college. Sports facilities and ground are provided to the teams and students. Our college team is one of the best teams of DU. Faculty : Some of the faculty members are very good while some of them lacks the ability to communicate as a teacher. Some of them used different teaching methods which includes presentation, case studies, etc. The student to faculty ratio is 50:1. Yes, I got industry exposure as we visited to Bombay Stock Exchange. The course curriculum is useful.

So far everything is good. Rock spot is near the college which a hangout spot. The canteen is also a hangout spot. In terms of accessibility buses, autos all are available just waiting for metro. the academic facility is good. The college has many societies. The college provides placements. Teachers are good, the amount of time they invest in teaching is what I adore most.

College life at Motilal Nehru College (Evening)

I am quite satisfied with the college. The faculties are helpful, decent and kind. They are well educated. The condition of the classroom is not up to the mark. Bad condition of the desks, fans are slow and sometimes there is no chair for the teachers. Overall the experience is good. Crowd is average. It is a mixture of obedient and disobedient students. No proper classes are taken during elections. Surrounding is happening as there are four college in a row. Popular restaurants and eating places are near to the campus.
