Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC) established in 1958 as a Medical Government college. It is affiliated to University of Delhi. This institute is currently ranked 3rd in the country by India Today. The campus spreads in 122 acres 7 also attached with 4 other institutes – Lok Nayak Hospital, GB Pant Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research, Maulana Azad Institute of Dental sciences and the Guru Nanak Eye Center.The college offers UG ,PG & post doctoral courses .

Infrastructures
The infrastructure of The Maulana Azad Medical College is well maintained and well structured with all modern facilities like – hostel , cafeteria , Sports, labs , Library etc . The building gives a very modern yet traditional look.
Classroom
The Lecture Theatres and auditorium are well equipped with public address system having microphones and facilities to record the lectures and discussions. The facilities like epidiascopes, slide projectors, overhead projectors and film projectors are also available. All Lecture Theatres are air-conditioned.
Laboratory
College has a well kit out IT computer labs for the learner which is well equipped by the latest system, software’s, hardware, scanner and printer. The computer lab of the college assists both learner and faulty in their research. The computer lab of the college provides 24 hours internet facility which helps learner in accessing data for their programmes.
Library
The College has one of the finest libraries with an impressive collection of literature, The liabrary is centrally air-conditioned and recently renovated It has spacious reading rooms for students where they can study up till late hours. It has a large number of books and journals and modern self-learning facility through audio-visual aids to keep the readers abreast of latest medical developments all over the world.
