Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) has an active Placement cell. A team is constituted to foster the placement opportunity, comprising of the placement officer, the trainer, the faculties and student coordinators headed by the Associate director. The team is responsible for the working process of the placement cell like providing opportunities for part time / full time / internship jobs in reputed organization to eligible students. Likely over 60 companies visit MIT Manipal for campus recruitments every year.

The infrastructure includes air-conditioned lecture halls, skills lab, air-conditioned hostels, and multi-cuisine food court. The state-of-the-art health sciences library is fully air-conditioned, accommodates 1300 learners and has over 62,000 books and over 600 journals. Classroom

Walk into one of the classrooms of the Interact building or one in the Lecture Hall Complex of MIT. Manipal University has brought technology into classrooms for effective pedagogy. University has done the best to ensure it in these centrally air-conditioned classrooms.

Laboratory

Computer Labs are well-equipped the latest microprocessors & V-Sat connectivity that integrates the use of IT in every discipline. The lab is equipped with PIV Desktop - 140, IBM servers, latest microprocessors & host of other application softwares.

Library

The Central Library of Manipal Institute of Technology is located in the heart of the institution and therefore is easily accessible to the departments, classrooms and hostels. The three-storey library is fully air- conditioned and occupies a total area of about 70,000 square feet. It can accommodate 800 users at a time. The books both technical and general, journals, magazines and their back volumes, DVD’s, are available for the use of faculty and students of the institute.
