Manipal Institute of Communication (MIC) has emerged as one of the premier communication, media and journalism institutes in the country with international reputation. It offers two-year post-graduate course (MS Communication), three-year graduate programme (Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Communication), one-year post-graduate diploma in Corporate Communication (PGDCC) and a six-month certificate course in animation.

Placement
The college has an active placement cell that ensures that deserving students get placed in good organizations.
Infrastructures
The university provides state-of-the-art infrastructural facilities to its students that includes libraries, sports centre, hostel facilities, various libraries, cafeteria, bank facilities, etc.
Classroom
Almost 30 lecture halls will be air-conditioned in the first phase and the remaining will be air-conditioned in the second.
Laboratory
Separate computer labs for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, equipped with 50 P4 systems connected through Windows XP based local area network with Windows NT server. 25 terminals fully equipped for multimedia applications with all necessary software required for print and multimedia presentations
