Private University Estd. 1952 NIRF #1 (Medical) 2024Malnad College of Engineering (MCE) is a breeding ground college for the young bloods of the nation. MCE College is comes under the aegis of Malnad Technical Educational Society, Hassan. MCE College is an autonomous Institution under the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum & approved by All India Council for technical education (AICTE). The college was incepted in the year 1960 during the second 5 year plan, as a joint venture of Government of India, Government of Karnataka and the Malnad Technical Education Society, Hassan. The college also gets Best Engineering College of the country award from “ISTE Award” in the year 2007. The objective of the institute is to prepare boffin who have excellent technical knowledge and knows the value of working in team.

Placement
Malnad College of Engineering (MCE) has a separate Training and Placement (T&P) department, incepted during early nineties. The department is managed by Senior Professors, who have good experience in various fields of engineering. The training and placement cell fulfilling the needs and requirements of the industry and student community. The department is fully equipped with latest amenities for the placement activities such as board room facility, panel rooms with all necessary accessories, seminar hall with audio visual facility and computing facilities with suitable networking for conducting on line tests are readily available.

The Malnad College of Engineering has a well maintained and well structured infrastructure providing modern facilities to the students. From the hostel facilities to library to classrooms, everything is upgraded with modern and advanced technology to let students lead a very simple home away from home journey.
Classroom
Malnad College Engineering (MCE) provides well furnished and trendy classrooms. All classrooms provides a special learning environment, a touch screen white board is integrated with the LCD projector and a computer.
Laboratory
Malnad College Engineering (MCE) has world class labs facilities for the learners. College has separate labs for every department. The labs of the MCE assists learner in their research and projects. College has a computer lab which is well equipped with latest systems, software’s & Hardware’s, scanner and printer.
Library
College has a sizable library with rich collection of more than 60,000 volumes and has a well furnished Reference section. The library gets several journals in various fields of Science, Engineering and Technology. College also provides E-library facility to the fellow students for the access of online journals. College library has seating capacity of more than 240 users at a time.
