Madras School of Social Work (MSSW) is an Autonomus institiute situated in the Gateway of South India "Chennai" city. Institute is affilated to University of Madras and set up by Mrs. Mary Clubwala Jadhav in 1952. MSSW institiute is run under the umbrella of the Society for Social Education and Research (SSER). The founder of the college is eminent personality & had been honoured by the International Council of Social Welfare with the “Outstanding Service Award” at Hague in 1972. And also get one of the prestigious awards of our country “Padma Shri”. Institute offers graduate & undergraduate programmes for the students, and transform every individual into a promient personality. Apart from this MSSW also organises various events like Facluty development program, celebrating National Unity day, special lecture for the students etc, these events makes overall development of the students and hones their minds. The mission of the college is to provide high quality education based on a strong value foundation.

Placement

The placement cell of the college motivates students by arranging seminars and workshops and participating in various intra and inter-collegiate academic and co-curricular competitions. MSSW was set up in the Banking Capital of India Chennai. The moment student enters in the premises of the college they get captivate by the atmosphere.
