Madras Medical College is one of the oldest medical institutes in Asia. It was established in the year 1664 as a small medical center to dispense health of the soldiers of East Indian Company. It is affiliated to Dr.MGR Medical University, Tamil Nadu and is accredited with Medical Council of India.
