The institute was established to take up the challenges of effective education and training of professionals for careers in Engineering and other allied subjects. The main emphasis of the institute is to impart high quality education and training in the field of management and information technology through relevant knowledge with the help of modern technology.

Placement
The Training and Placement Cell is supported by branch coordinators working under the guidance of Principal and in association with respective heads of departments. This Cell facilitates student visits to industries, industrial training, expert lectures, project placement, campus interviews, and training of faculties and professionals. Various companies and placement consultancies are invited for the placement of engineering students & the batch of MBA students. The placement success rate was 100% for the year 2009.
Infrastructures
The institute has state-of-the-art infrastructure with all modern facilities. The institute also provides transport facility to students coming from Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar.
Classroom
The institute has spacious classrooms, fully equipped with ultra-modern facilities. Each classroom has all modern teaching aids like LCD/overhead projectors, and other audio visual equipments. In addition to the classrooms the institute also has tutorial rooms for small group experiential and interactive learning and counselling.
Laboratory
The institute possesses 18 laboratories pertaining to Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering with all the latest equipments machinery instruments in place.
Library
The institute has a sprawling library with a rich collection of 7626 books pertaining to various branches on offer in Engineering Management and also general books. 33 National & International Magazine & Journals are subscribed along with an E-Journal and DEL (Digital Engineering Library) subscription.
