Konkan Gyanpeeth College of Engineering is affiliated to University of Mumbai and approved by AICTE. The College offers Bachelor of Engineering course. The College is completely unaided.  The College is the part of  "THE KONKAN GYANPEETH TRUST" founded in the year 1989 by Shri. P. N. Dharkar.  Currently,  1,300 students are enrolled in 6 disciplines.

Our campus which is spread over an area of over 31 acres includes a main building which has 18 classrooms, 3 drawing halls, 2 tutorial rooms, 7 bathrooms, one library consisting of over 13,100 books and around 20 different periodicals – both international as well as domestic, a cyber-cafe which has 12 computer terminals and 2 servers, along with Broadband Internet Connectivity with 1 Mbps speed for the use of staff and college students. Well equipped laboratories for each and every departments and also workshops to enable the students to supplement their practicals.

The college is good, the teaching staff is excellent, knowledgeable and experienced. They are supportive. The campus is big, WiFi facilities are provided. Labs are provided for each subject. Extracurricular activities are also there, Sports events are conducted.

Good for studies, sports and cultural events

This college is located at 15 minutes of distance from Karjat Station by using auto rickshaw or college bus. The atmosphere of college is good. College has a good computer labs but have a dot-matrix printer due to which student have to suffer during completion of assignments. College staff is supportive if you behave properly. Canteen is good for small time pass. Sports and cultural events or festivals are celebrated very nicely. There is a chance of placement is 10% so don't think you will get a placement over here.

Good college for study.

Infrastructure is not much good, but the college is having a good sports ground. The surrounding environment is fresh. College canteen and the fests organized are average. The hostel is near to the college. The college is situated out of the city on hills and is at a walking distance of 45 min. Placement is ok and is increasing nowadays. Though packages are low but you will get a job if you are having good marks. The lowest salary is 8k per month. The faculty is good, experienced, qualified and supportive. Some of them are IITians too. Attendance is not compulsory in 3rd and 4th year. Industrial visits are average and are conducted by the university. The library is good. But, only drawback is you need to travel a lot every day. Bus facility is not good.

Average college. But as compared to other colleges in down side its a good choice!

The college has a good workshop. Situated at beautiful surrounding full of nature. Teaching faculty is good but not great. Fests and sports activities are cool to attend. It's almost 3 km away from the station but college has its own bus service. The canteen is famous for its Masala Pav And Bhurji Pav.
