Private University Estd. 1952 NIRF #1 (Medical) 2024KCG College of Technology was founded in 1998 to fulfill the Founder-Chairman, Dr KCG Verghese's vision of "Making Every Man a Success and no Man a Failure". It is a Christian minority institution, affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. It's mission is to offer the best engineering education and to develop the young minds into an all-round personality to meet the growing challenges of industries and social needs of the country. It offers undergrduate and postgraduate courses in Engineering and Business Administration.

Placement
The Campus Placements for 2011 batch of B.E / B.Tech / M.E / MCA students started with a pleasant note. Infosys Technologies recruited 99 of our students with a conversion ratio of 46.5% which indicates the quality of students and training inputs. 18 Companies have recruited 170 students and percentage of placed students is 65%. Interview process was held both in the campus and in HITs. The students also attended the placement drives organized by TNSLPP of Anna University.
Infrastructures
The institute is well equipped with all modern infrastuctural facilities. The college is also well connected to the city by Public Transport buses and apart from this runs its own buses as well for the convenience of its students.
Laboratory
The computer center is well equipped with over 100 IBM machines and latest software packages like RDBMS, UNIX etc, two operating systems with window 2000, XP, Pentium 4 processor, 512 mb, and 80 GB hard disks. The center also facilitates high-speed Internet connection.
Library
The library is the focal point and nerve centre of any educational Institution. The college library is well equipped with a large number of technical books and Indian and Foreign technical journals and periodicals, besides a good collection of light reading materials.
