Karnataka State Law University (KSLU) shaping brilliant minds for the field of law. KSLU was commenced in January 2009 by the Government of Karnataka under the Karnataka State Law University Act, 2009, with its headquarters at Navanagar, Hubli. KSLU University is situated in the state of Karnataka. The University has more than 92 colleges under its roof. KSLU imparts high standard legal education, which is pertinent and affordable to everyone. Apart from this college has an exquisite campus sprawled in an area of 55 acres at Navanagar in Hubli. The campus of the college is well kit out with latest amenities like classrooms, auditorium, hostels etc. For the overall development of its students, KSLU organizes conferences, workshops and symposia, which give them a chance to express their views and thoughts on various social issues. Karnataka State Law University (KSLU) develops their student skills through their own international Law Moot Court Competition and also a Kannada Moot Court Competition. The mission of the University is to produce law graduates and post graduates who will inspire and lead the community by putting service before self.

Course Curriculum

Bachelor of Law (BA., LLB) - Candidate should be passed 10+2, which shall not be below 45% (44.5% and above shall be treated as 45%) of total marks in qualifying examination, in case of general category applicants and 40% (39.5% and above shall be treated as 40%) of total marks in case of SC and ST applicants. Admission is strictly based on merit, based on the marks secured by the candidate in the qualifying examination. -
Bachelor of Busniess Administration Law (BBA/LLB) - Candidate should be passed 10+2, which shall not be below 45% (44.5% and above shall be treated as 45%) of total marks in qualifying examination, in case of general category applicants and 40% (39.5% and above shall be treated as 40%) of total marks in case of SC and ST applicants. Bachelor of Law (L.L.B) - Hons - The candidate should have pass graduate in any discipline from any recognized university. Admission is strictly based on merit and based on the marks secured by the candidate in the qualifying examination. -
Master of Law - Candidate should be passed graduation, Admissions to first year of the LL.M. programme, in all P.G. Departments/ Law School/ Autonomous colleges under the jurisdiction of Karnataka State Law University, is strictly based on merit, based on the marks secured by the candidate in the qualifying examination. The minimum percentage of marks in qualifying examination shall not be below 45% of total marks in case of general category applicants and 40% of total marks in case of SC and ST applicants. -
Bachelor of Business Administration (L.L.B) - Hons - The candidate should have pass graduate in any discipline from any recognized university. Admission is strictly based on merit and based on the marks secured by the candidate in the qualifying examination. -

Infrastructures

KSLU campus is occupied in an area of 55 acres at Navanagar in Hubli. The campus of the college is designed by a master plan. The edifice of the University is well designed and equipped with amenities like class rooms and auditorium, Pariksha Bhavan- the Examination Section of the University, Guest House and a Boys Hostel. The infrastructure facilities of the KSLU University make learning suitable for the students. Facilities provided to students Internship at reputed firms, NGOs, State Legislature, etc. KSLU Students Law Review brought our under the editorship of students. Cash Awards and Certificates for winners of championships and individual prizes in moot court competitions. Cash award for the best articles selected for publication in the KSLU Students Law Review. Sponsoring of the students to represent Law School and KSLU at various competitions. Hostels for boys and girls Health facilities Sports and Games Scholarships for Students as per UGC State Government norms.

Classroom

KSLU classrooms are fully air-conditioned and well equipped with all modern audio-visual instruments like projectors, whiteboards, Wi-Fi connectivity and Public Addressing Systems. The facilities make learning conducive for the students and provide more practical knowledge about their programmes.

Laboratory

The University has its own international Law Moot Court Competition and also a Kannada Moot Court Competition to provide an excellent opportunity to Law students to hone their skills.

Library

Karnataka State Law University library has already procured 6,000 Books, Journals and Reporters, apart from subscribing to leading law and general magazines in India and E-library with 2.5 lakh books; indigenously created Case Law Finder and Online Legal Databases.
