Kamargaon College came into existence in July, 1972. Since then the College has been serving for the noble cause of re-shaping and transforming this socio economically dis-advantaged society through quality education. The College endeavors to promote in the students and teachers an awareness and understanding of the social needs of the locality and prepare them for fulfilling such needs. Kamargaon College is affiliated to Dibrugarh University and and accredited by NACC in 2004. The college was placed at C++ grade by the NAAC Executive Committee in the year 2003. The college presently has 08 departments. Major is offered by all the departments except Philosophy
