Kamani Science College and Prataprai Arts College is the oldest college in the District started way back in 1961.

The built-up area of the college is 3800 Sq. Mtrs.

It has a sufficient number of spacious and airy classrooms, multipurpose auditorium, well furnished Principal's chamber, Administrative office, Staff room, NSS, NCC, Cultural activity room, carrier corner centre, audio visual room, sports room for indoor games, well equipped laboratories, language laboratory, botanical garden etc.. The college management is proactive for the growth of the college.

In order to ensure the optimum use of existing infrastructure the college runs study centre for Indira Gandhi National Open University and Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University.

The Goals and Objective of the College are -
