Candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% (40% for candidates belong to reserved category) marks in aggregate. He / She shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December, of the year of dmission to the B.D.S. course.

The Candidate must have passed B.D.S Examination from a recognized Dental College and should have obtained registration either from the Dental Council of India, New Delhi or Dental Council after completion of one year rotating internship training. The candidate undergoing one year rotating internship training and likely to obtain final registration certificate from the Dental Council of India, New Delhi or State Dental Council on or before 15th April 2009 can also appear for the Entrance Test. Such candidates will be required to submit a certificate from the Principal/Dean of the college regarding the likely date of training of their rotating internship training failing which their application will be treated as incomplete shall be rejected. The candidate must be an Indian National.

Candidates must possess a Bachelor degree of Dental Sciences (BDS) and shall possess at least one of the following educational qualifications awarded by any other recognized University thereto with at least 50% of aggregate marks obtained in the post gradate examinations.

• Degree of Master of Dental Surgery (M.D.S)
• Diplomat in National Boards (DNB) of India.
• Degree of master of sciences (M.Sc) in Dental Materials, Oral Biology, anatomy,
• Physiology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Forensic Science, clinical Research, Embryology etc.
• Master Degree in Dental science from Foreign University. This degree shall be approved by Govt of India &/or Dental Council of India.
