• Only female candidates are eligible for admission to the B.Com courses.
• Candidates must have good knowledge of the English language.
• A candidate seeking admission to three year B.Com (Hons.) course of the Institute must have passed Class-XII examination of any recognized Board / Council recognized by Jadapur University with a combination of four recognized subjects of which at least one is English and securing at least 55% marks in the aggregate.

• Only female candidate are eligible for admission to the B.Sc. courses.
• Candidates must have good knowledge of the English language.
• A student seeking admission to three year B.Sc (Hons.) in Food Science & Nutrition Management / Textile Science, Clothing & Fashion Studies / Interior Designing / Human Development of the Institute must have passed the 10+2 examination of any recognized Board / Council recognized by Jadavpur University in four recognized subjects of which at least one is English and securing at least 50% marks in the aggregate.

• Only female candidates are eligible for admission to the M.Com courses.
• Candidates must have good knowledge of the English language.
• A student seeking admission to the M.Com course must have B.Com (Hons.) from Jadavpur University or any other University recognized by Jadavpur University and must have at least 55% at the Bachelor's level
• A candidate who has appered in the examination at the under graduate level may alos apply in anticipation of the results, provided she produces her internal assessment showing the overall average marks obtained by her. The admission would be provisional subject to satisfaction of the admission criteria.

• A student seeking admission to the different M.Sc courses must have passed the exams mentioned below either from Jadavpur University or any other University recognized by Jadavpur University and must have at least 55% at the Bachelor's level :

 a) M.Sc in Food & Nutrition of the Institute must have passed B.Sc (Hons.) Home Science (specialization in Food & Nutrition), Food & Nutrition, Food Science & Nutrition Management, Food Science & Processing, Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics.

b) M.Sc in Textiles and Clothing of the Institute must have passed B.Sc (Hons.) in Home Science, Home Science (specialization in Textiles & Clothing), Textile Science, Clothing & Fashion Studies.

c) M.Sc in Human Development of the Institute must have passed B.Sc (Hons.) in Home Science, Home Science (specialization in Human Development), Child Development, Human Development & Family Studies, Development Studies.

• A candidate who has appeared in the examination at the under graduate level may also apply in anticipation of the results, provided she produces her internal assessment showing the overall average marks obtained by her. The admission would be provisional subject to satisfaction of the admission criteria.
