Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT) was the first amongst three Institutes of higher technical education, raised by the Jaiprakash Sewa Sansthan (JSS). The Institute has defined new innovative programs of learning to produce human resource capable of identifying, analyzing and solving problems. The Institute is fully backed and supported by the Jaypee Group of Companies who recognize the role of IT and emerging technologies in improving the quality of life of the people in India. Institute aim is to become a Center of Excellence in the field of IT & related emerging areas education, training and research comparable to the best in the world for producing professionals who shall be leaders in innovation, entrepreneurship, creativity and management.

Infrastructures

JIIT has been developed as a modern world class campus, with intellectually vibrant ambience in a serene and lush green environment. The state-of-the-art campus at a total project cost of Rs. 114 crores, with a total built up area of over 68340 sq. m comprising smart buildings with Internet, with Wi-Fi connectivity, including environmentally conditioned Academic Block, Annapurna (Mess), well-equipped modern laboratories, Learning Resource Centre, Faculty and student residences provides a pleasant and intellectually stimulating ambience for students in an eco-friendly environment.

Classroom

All the classrooms are well equipped with all the modern facilities.

Laboratory

The institute has well equipped laboratories for all departments. REVIEWED MANY COLLEGES Except faculty everything(8/10) is top level But faculty is fair(4/10) Term exams are bit tough vs uptu colleges Has four branch ece,cs,it&biotech College provides, lot funds for lot of events, like ethnic night, acoustic night, impressions nighy, etc.

JIIT is a good college for CSE, IT and ECE. The infrastructure of the college is great. The faculty members of the college are good. the classrooms and labs are well maintained. The college maintains a very good discipline overall. The dean and the VC are very active and cooperative.

The faculty of the core subjects is quite good. Campus life is good and the college provides various facilities to the students. Also, if you apply for hostel, you will get hostel in sec-62 even if you are studying in sec-128. The teachers are good and are quite motivating. The infrastructure is good but is still improving. Overall, it can be said that it is a good college.
