The Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition, Srinagar was established in the year 1982. The IHM sringar was the 5th Hotel Management Institute in the country and first in the state of J&K. The institute provides quality education with highly qualified quality members. Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition, Srinagar is affiliated with the National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT) which is an autonomous body under Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. NCHMCT in collaboration with IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) regulates academics for 3-year Bachelor of Science Programme in Hospitality and Hotel Administration.
