Indian Institute of Science has "The Corporate Relations and Placements Committee" at the Institute which has high level contacts in the Corporate and a strong network with leading HR Managers across India to ensure that students don’t simply get a job, but choose a career of their interest. The institute always aims in developing constructive and purposeful processes for assuring a successful career for each student. Some of the companies where IIS students are placed include ICICI Analytics, Relecura, Target Corporation, TCS, Wipro, CPRI etc.
The infrastructure of the college is well maintained and well structured with all modern facilities provided to students.
The Institute has a well equipped audio-visual classroom with state of the art equipments and includes LCD projector, Computer, Overhead projector, adequate chairs, tables etc. which helps in conducting interactive sessions and project presentations.
The college has well-equipped computer lab with broadband Internet connectivity and a host of other required software. There are more than 100 modern computers in the labs that facilitate in learning IT and also undertake research and data processing.
The college has a well stocked library.
The experience of learning from the Indian Institute of Science has been the greatest gift to me. The campus is huge and beautiful with lots of different courses. The greenery is mind fleshing after a hectic study. The location of the campus itself is amazing.
The campus of this college is very eco-friendly, full of greenery, and well maintained. The Professors are erudite. This is one of the oldest institutes in the city. The class timings are quite rigid and the students do have to maintain an attendance of 75%. Also the chances of getting good placement is expected. But so far as the placement records are concerned, they are not that high. To be very frank, the BMS department is the best department of this College. If you are planning to do research in the near future, then I would say that lots and lots of research works are going on in this college. For all the sports lovers there is also a good culture of sports here in this college. Overall, the ambiance of this college is very soothing but still there is a lot of scope of improvement for it in the near future.
