• Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% aggregate marks or an equivalent CGPA, with a 5% relaxation granted to candidates from reserved categories.
• The conversion of CGPA to percentage will follow the rules set by the respective university/institute. In cases where no conversion scheme exists, IIM Amritsar will determine the equivalence by dividing the obtained CGPA by the maximum CGPA and multiplying it by 100.
• Candidates in the final year of their qualifying degree are also eligible to apply, provided they submit the necessary documents within the specified timeframe.
• Applicants seeking admission to the IIM Amritsar MBA program for 2025 must meet the CAT 2024 cutoff criteria.

• A candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA (45% for candidates from Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disability (PWD) categories), awarded by a recognized University or institution established under an Act of Parliament, State legislature, or deemed to be a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
• Candidates in the final year of their Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification, as well as those who have completed the requirements and are awaiting results, are also eligible to apply. However, if selected, they can join the program provisionally only upon submitting a certificate from the Principal/Registrar of their University/Institution (issued on or before the stipulated date by the respective IIM) confirming that they have fulfilled all requirements for obtaining the Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification as of the certificate’s issue date.

• A candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA. For candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disability (PWD) categories, the minimum requirement is 45%. The degree should be awarded by a recognized University or educational institution established by an Act of Parliament or State legislature in India, declared as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or hold an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
• Candidates who are in the final year of their Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification, as well as those who have completed their degree requirements and are awaiting results, are also eligible to apply. However, if selected, they will be granted provisional admission only upon submitting a certificate from the Principal/Registrar of their University/Institution (issued on or before the date specified by the respective IIM) confirming that they have fulfilled all the requirements for obtaining the Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification as of the date of issuance of the certificate.

• Candidates must have passed Class 12/HSC (or equivalent) with Mathematics/Applied Mathematics and must also have passed Class 10.
• Class 12 should be completed in 2024 or appearing in 2025, and Class 10 should be completed in 2021 or later.
• A minimum of 60% marks in Class 10 is required (55% for candidates belonging to reserved categories).
• Applicants are required to register for IPMAT 2025 through IIM Indore. The scores will be considered by IIM Amritsar for admission to its Undergraduate Management Programme(s). However, IIM Indore has no involvement in the selection or conduct of the programme at IIM Amritsar.
