The Indian Institute of Forest Management is a sectoral management institute, which constantly endeavors to evolve knowledge useful for the managers in the area of Forest, Environment and Natural Resources Management and allied sectors. Infrastructures

The Institute’s campus is located on a hilltop at Nehru Nagar, southeast of Bhopal. The site is crowned by a garland of water-bodies on three sides. The building complex includes academic complex, library & computer centre, hostel and mess, administration and accounts wings. The academic complex includes classrooms, MDP halls and faculty blocks. The architectural design of the building complex provides an environment for the academic pursuance and social interaction.

The IIFM Computer Centre has state-of-art hardware and software resources to support diverse computing needs of the faculty members and students. The computer centre is equipped with state-of-the-art GIS and Remote Sensing software for Geo-informatics applications.
