The ISIL library started functioning in the early sixties and has over the years built-up a fairly good collection, approximately 25,000 volumes of books and journals. An important feature of the library is its collection of primary documents, e.g. documents of the United Nations (UN), reports of the International Court of Justice (ICJ), and International Law Commission (ILC).
