Private University Estd. 1952 NIRF #1 (Medical) 2024Hindu College was established in the year 1899 with an aim to provide nationalist education to the young generation of India. Once known as a crucial centre for political debates during freedom struggle, the college is now known as one of the premier colleges in Delhi. The college offers undergraduate and post graduate courses in the field of science, arts and commerce. The college is affiliated to Delhi University and is accredited by NAAC.

Placement
DISHA -THE PLACEMENT CELL, while stressing the need for further academic endeavour, provides the students with an opportunity to work, if they so desire. The cell organizes Seminars and Workshops on career-related matters and conducts Placement Sessions from time to time. The organizations that participated in the Placement Programme in the previous years are Google, Deloitte, HDFC, KPMG, Maruti, Jaypee, Ernst & Young, Protiviti, DE Shaw, Essar, Royal Sundaram Alliance, etc.

Hindu College offers a wide range of facilities and resources which support students throughout their academic career at the College. They are designed to meet the requirements of the academic and professional programmes. These are reviewed and maintained regularly in order to ensure that students have full access to all the facilities.

All the classrooms of the college department are well furnished with all modern facilities.
Library
The College maintains a well-stocked library.The total collection of the library is now 116688. A total of 1216 books of different departments were added during this session. The library subscribe to sixteen dailies and fifty four journals/magazine, both Indian and foreign, relating to different subjects.
