Gyaan Vikas Institute of IT and Management is an offshoot of GYAN VIKAS EDUTECH SOCIETY. This registered society is a vision and passion of a group of people from various segment of the society with one vision "BRINGING HIGHER EDUCATION TO MASSES". The promoters of the society have background varying from education, industry, services to social work. The basic motto of the society is to bring education to the masses with less or no financial interest of the society. It is affiliated to KSOU(Karnataka State Open University) which is a recognised University of Distance Education Council (DEC), New Delhi, regular member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), Delhi, permanent member of Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), London, UK, Asian Association of Open Universities (AAOU), Beijing, China, and also has association with Commonwealth of Learning (COL).
