Government Polytechnic college Ashok Nagar was inaugurated under Open Door Education Policy by prime minister late Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri with 30 seats in civil engineering. Presently college offers three year Diploma in civil engineering, electrical engineering, electronics and telecommunication engineering and mechanical engineering. College aim is to build a renowned institution which will produce industrial need based diploma engineers with goodwill for humanity.
