GECA- Sober in environment, infrastructure, education. Placements: Placements for computer, IT and mechanical streams are very good. But as the job opportunities for civil in the government sector are very high, companies for civil recruitment are ve

PLAGIARISED Good infrastructure, faculty and sports facilities. Satisfactory hostel. Placements: The placement of our super senior batch that completed the course in 2017 was pretty healthy especially our branch i.e. Computer Science. The overall placement of institute consisted of around 162 students (all branches) being selected in the campus where Tata Consultancy Service (TCS) being the mass recruiter. So around 65-70 percent students were picked by TCS alone. The overall placement may lie in the range of lower 90 percents. The other companies like Infosys, Tech Mahindra and few more are frequent companies that visit for placement. Civil Engg. branch faces the least campus selection relative to other branches. The highest salary was around 12 lac per year and the average salary for the campus selection was 3.70 lac per year with a slight approximation. Now about the roles offered to students, now the technical companies like TCS and Infosys were keen on recruiting students even from core branches (Mech, Electrical more preferred over Civil). So I guess with a basic technical aiding these students were given the suited roles as per their requirement. Now about the internship, a very few students from CS and IT voluntarily took for internship (about 20%) majority of them without the stipend and a some technically sound which earned about 4000per month stipend (max). Mechanical branch students cherished the exposure of internship by almost 80% students taking up for the internship at industries like Crompton Greeves mostly unpaid only for experience basis. Infrastructure: The infrastructure here is a good one. Yes, there are Wi-Fi labs and technically aided classrooms and I do hope these can be enhanced and developed even further. The quality is average. There are basketball and volleyball court, a gymkhana equipped with basic gym instruments a fantastic wooden floored badminton court. So overall the sports infrastructure meets up to one's expectation. About canteen, there is no such canteen in the college premises but there are canteens associated with the hostels (one for girls hostel and one for boys). The quality of food is unsatisfactory and I could even mention it to be unhygienic (won't recommend anyone to go there). The hostel rooms are typical government accommodation but no complaints there cause it is the best that can be offered at such a low price. Hostel accommodation is enough to suffice the requirement and also in the most subsidised rates that one could imagine. Faculty: The faculty over here can be categorised into permanent professors and assistant teaching staff. The permanents are well qualified and knowledgeable but the same cannot be said about the assistant staff. The teaching of syllabus here is divided among these two class of faculties which generally creates an unbalance in understanding as the teaching of latter cannot meet the expectations that they are supposed to when it comes to the stature of an autonomous college. But the faculty is helpful when it comes to resolving study related issues. The technical aides were used like projectors, presentations, visuals and the teaching were interactive on majority occasions. There were around 5 subjects each semester and for each subject, there were a professor and his assistant, so there were about 10-12 faculty members for 70 odd students each semester. That gives the faculty to student ratio. Industry exposure was highly inadequate with no field visits, industry visits as far as my branch was concerned. Only 2 branches were obliged with a mere 2 industry visits which are insufficient. The course curriculum was three star in usefulness. The content should have more related to respective branches and as per

Great college for engineering

INSUFICIENT INFORMATION My college experience the first time I went to college it was a learning experience. I learning so much about things. I did not know much about the college experience and what I did know scared me. But most importantly the college experience is experience. The placement of our super senior batch that completed the course in 2017 was pretty healthy especially our branch i.e. Computer Science. The overall placement of institute consisted of around.
