Placement

Institute imparts placement & Internship for its students. The placement cell of the college works very hard and maintains its relationship with top fashion firms. Internship plays a vital role in grooming student career for the field of fashion. As an intern student gets million dollar experience and also this is the right time for applying those skills, which they learn in their classrooms. After completing their programme student get placement in top notch fashion industries. The objective of the placement cell is to produce creative minds for the fashion industry by developing their inherent & artistic ability.

Infrastructures

The campus of the institute is well designed and kit out with amenities like canteen, bank ATM etc. The well constructed building of the GIFT is fully fit out with necessary amenities such as trendy lecture halls, library, and special rooms for brainstorming session. GIFT prepares students through rigorous training such as personality development, communication skills, and extensive exercises to inculcate analytical abilities empowering students to interpret data faster.

GIFT has trendy classrooms which is fully air conditioned and packed with modern facilities like black boards, OHP, LCD, podium, tables and chairs. The classrooms facilities make academics’ conducive for students.

Fake and worst institute in kolkata

COLLEGE NOT MENTIONED ON FB. Global institute of fashion technology is the fake college and worst college. They do the fake promises and even if a particular students has some issues with teacher and they complain against that teacher they dnt take any action instead of taking action against teacher they vl take the action against student only n force them to leave the student

GIFT REVIEW

Infrastructure needs improvement. Average surrounding. Public transportation is not good. The college is not good for design courses. Professionally, the college teaching and non-teaching staff needs improvement. Labs need to be well equipped. Classrooms are not spacious. Faculties are changed every month. Most of the experienced faculties left the college because of the improper working of the management. The current faculties do not focus on practical teaching, they focus more on the theoretical teaching. The college management is unsatisfactory. Placements are not provided to the students. Even if some of them get placed, they are not getting good salary packages.

Below average college

Surrounding is unclean and unsafe. Public transport is not easy to get. Traffic is the main problem. The college authority is money minded. Academic structure is not good. Facilities are not provided according to the fees. Classrooms are spacious but not modernize. Labs are not updated. There are less sewing machines for the fashion designing students. No idea about hostels. Industrial visits, workshops and fests are organised by the college. Students are not regular and energetic. Some of them are helpful, while some of them are not. No placements are offered. Faculties keep on changing regularly. Every month new faculties are appointed and rejected.

Perfect for learning designing

I'm glad to tell you that it's the perfect Institute for learning fashion as well as interior designing. All the faculty members are really kind, gentle and very friendly. Teachers were also good. I am still studying in GIFT and I am really satisfied and happy with this Institute. I will suggest joining GIFT to those people who really want to learn to design and make bright future.
