Girijan Sharirik Shikshan Mahavidyalaya, Chikhaldara , Dist - Amravati was established in the year 1993 by Shree Hanuman Vyayam Prasarak Mandal, a registered and Government recognized only private premier Physical Education Institution in India. This college is affiliated to Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati. It is  recognized by the Govt. of Maharashtra and National Council for Teacher Education WRC, Bhopal. The college provides its services to the students of Tribal community specially for their services to educate their development of standard of living and to prepare the students in the educational field to render their community. The college strives to nurture in the Tribal Youth the professional insight in the field of physical education. College seeks to cultivate a sense of national responsibility through its efforts to develop physical education a base for the betterment of the future generation of this region. The inter dependence of sports and society, sports and healthy environment have been very well acceptable throughout the world.
