GITAM is adjudged with “Best College Award in the Region” for two consecutive years i.e. 2016 and 2015. The campus is spread over 18 acres of lush green land situated on Bahadurgarh-Jhajjar Road (NCR, Delhi). It offers various Engineering and Management courses viz. B.Tech, B.Tech (Lateral Entry), M.Tech , BBA, BCA, MBA, MCA and Diploma courses. B.Tech in Fire Technology & Safety and M.Tech in Cyber Forensic and Information Security are unique courses in GITAM. This Institute is duly approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and is Affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak & HSBTE, Panchkula, Haryana. The Institute is a renowned name for its excellent result in the University Examinations. 416 students of the Institute are University Rankers out of which 16 students got 1st position in Maharishi Dayanand University in the last year which is the example of the efforts put in by the faculty and the students. In the recently declared result by Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak 6 of our BBA students are in top ten in the University with Archi and Madhusudan bagging the 1st position in BBA and BCA course respectively. 80 companies visited the campus for placement in the on-going session i.e. 2016-17. The names of the some of the recruiters for the Institute are TATA Motors, Vedanta, CDK Global, Avanti, Network Bulls, Axis Bank, Titan, PAYTM, HCL, IBM, GENPACT, OCTUS Life Care, YOMA, HCL Talent Care and many more. The Institute was awarded with National Award for Excellence in Placement for the Academic Year 2016-17 by Dr. S.S.Mantha, Former Chairman, All India Council for Technical Education and Lieutenant General Arun Sawhney.
It’s a matter of honour that International students particularly from Nigeria, Nepal, Afghanistan, Dubai, Bangladesh, Bhutan are studying in our Institute. One of our students Mr. Saket Gaurav has designed a wind turbine and filed patent for the same. The Institute provides transport facility from all parts of Delhi and NCR. We have about 80% students from Delhi and NCR. To enhance the practical skills of the students, Industrial Visits, Workshops, Seminars and Expert Lectures are organized regularly. GITAM has collaborated with IIT Delhi for Virtual Labs and with IIT, Mumbai for Audio –Visual Projects and Spoken Tutorials. The Institute is an authorized network academy of Huawei and Network Bulls. 106 companies have tied up with us for Training & Placement. National and International conference is bi-annual feature. For the holistic development of the students a balance between technical and cultural events is maintained. Achievers is a National level Techno- Cultural fest which is organized every year. Regular Faculty Development Programmes, Workshops and Seminars are organized in order to improve the quality of teaching.

Placement
Placement is a most important feature of an engineering and management Institute. The Institute has a full-fledged training and placement department which looks after the two aspects namely training and placement of the students of the Institute. Through its industry links, the Institute organizes job and placement activities in the campus itself. More than 115 companies of repute visited the Institute and nearly 324 students were placed. The Institute is in pursuit for more opportunities so that maximum students can be placed in near future.
Infrastructures
We are at par with excellence and leaving no exceptions in enhancing infrastructure vertically and horizontally. The Institute has fully equipped laboratories, Workshops, Computer Centre Departmental and Central Library, digital library is at par with the best of the institutions in the country. Not only promoting better academic learning but also enhancing good number of research and developmental activities. Special budget has been earmarked for the upgradation of laboratories, library and building as per the latest technology.
