Department of Foundations of Education
Its origin can be traced back to the Women's Training College which was a major institute for education of teacher’s education in North India. The aim is to instil among the students the qualities of dedication, skills, knowledge and creativity and the significance of professional ethics. It trains the students to evolve with the changing demands of the educational system. It trains its teachers to perform complex tasks including effective teaching, developing a value system in students and administrative responsibilities.
Department of Pedagogical Sciences
The Department of Pedagogical Sciences aims to achieve excellence in the field of education. The objective is to produce teachers who are well versed with research and are groomed in teaching skills.
