Private University Estd. 1952 NIRF #1 (Medical) 2024The East Point College of Engineering and Technology was established by the Muniswamappa Gouramma Charitable Trust to impart technically advanced education to students in Bangalore. Apart from the emphasis on quality education, at EPCET the focus is also on providing an organised and stimulating environment with every possible facility. Future plans include an Information Center in USA, London, UK and in every state of the country, to collect and disseminate information. This would enable students of EPCET, to take the lead in areas that are advanced and gain a definite edge over the competition.

Main block with a built up area of sufficient sq.ft. houses the office, Basic Science & Information Science & Engg., Departments. New block with a built up area of sufficient sq.ft. houses the Electronics & Communication Engg., and Computer Science & Engg., Departments as well as seminar hall and library. A separate Mechanical Engg., block consists of sufficient sq.ft. of area, which houses all the laboratories, class rooms and faculty rooms.
Laboratory
Extremely well equipped laboratories for each discipline-Physics, Chemistry and a regular basic workshop that caters to all Departments, ensure that the practical side adequately supports theory taught in the classrooms.
Library
Institute has one of the best-equipped Resource Centres designed to provide support to Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Nursing and Higher Education departments. The technical library has over 60000 volumes related to all branches of science, engineering and management. International and national journals are available for the students.
