Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar is situated on the banks of Holy River Ganges, under the shadow of sacred Himalayan region in district Dehradun. It has a sprawling campus of 82 acres area. The University is duly recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Sri Vedmata Gayatri Trust, a charitable Spiritual body at Shantikunj Haridwar (head quarter of Gayatri Pariwar) is taking care of all the expenses of this university. It is fully residential with provision for accommodation for about 750 students. DSVV encourages interdisciplinary research in the field of behavioral yogic sciences. Research scholars are also registered in the faculty of Oriental Studies to take up extensive research work on various aspects of Vedic Sciences as related to present day problems. The University offers different kind of bachelor and master courses leading to different streams.
