Department of Pharmacy is affiliated to Sumandeep Vidyapeeth University and approved by UGC. Department offers Bachelor Degree, Master Degree and Doctrol Degree in the field of Pharmacy.

Course Curriculum

Bachelor of Pharmacy 3

Candidates should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as mandatory subjects along with either Mathematics or Biology.  Applicants having passed Diploma Pharmacy (D.Pharm.) course from an institution approved by PCI U/s 12 of the Pharmacy Act.

Master of Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics) 6

Candidate who has passed the B Pharm degree examination of Gujarat Technical University or B Pharm examinations of any other recognized Indian University by law in India or any other degree courses in pharmacy recognized as equivalent by Gujarat Technical University or Pharmacy council of India (PCI) / All India Council of Technical Education (A.I.C.T.E)/University Grants Commission (UGC) for this purpose and who has secured not less than 50% of the maximum marks in aggregate or not less than 55% marks in the final year B Pharm examination shall be eligible for the admission to the M Pharm course. Selection of candidates based on merit number in the Entrance test which shall be conducted as per the guidelines of SV.

Master of Pharmacy (Industrial Pharmacy) 4

A candidate who has passed the B Pharm degree examination of Gujarat Technical University or B Pharm examinations of any other recognized Indian University by law in India or any other degree courses in pharmacy recognized as equivalent by Gujarat Technical University or Pharmacy council of India (PCI) / All India Council of Technical Education (A.I.C.T.E)/University Grants Commission (UGC) for this purpose and who has secured not less than 50% of the maximum marks in aggregate or not less than 55% marks in the final year B Pharm examination shall be eligible for the admission to the M Pharm course. For SC/ST/ (Gujarat) Category –I candidates the prescribed percentage of marks will be 45% of the maximum marks in the qualifying examinations, provided they have genuine certificate from concerned Govt. Officer.
