Private University Estd. 1952 NIRF #1 (Medical) 2024The Department of Management Science was established in the year 1998 with a mission to train the budding Business Executives with cutting edge Managerial and Entrepreneurial Skills. It caters to needs of industrial and business houses for training managers and also to develop a class of entrepreneurs to accelerate the process of industrialization. The vision of the department is to provide excellent management education to cater to the needs of the industry and also to develop entrepreneurs to accelerate the process of industrialization. The Department constitutes dedicated faculty members to teach, to guide and to motivate the students.

Placement
The Training and Placement Cell was setup with an aim to train students and raise employability keeping in mind their career aspirations. Every year students undergo rigorous training from eminent resource persons to gear up for employment. The Training & Placement Cell also interacts with the industries for real-time projects and Industrial Visit for students. Candidates are provided practical inputs and simulations that facilitates an actual understanding about the dynamics of business environment.

Classroom
The department is housed in one of the new spacious buildings in the campus. The class rooms are well equipped with the excellent facilities such as Multimedia projectors, Over head and Slide projectors, Tape-recorder, T.V., VCR, etc., for enhancing the effectiveness of teaching / learning process.
Laboratory
An exclusive Computer Centre for the Department of Management Studies has got 60 terminals connected with LAN. Business Application Packages like MS-Office, Oracle, C++, Java, Tally package, SPSS, Visual Foxpro, GPSS, Tora, Lino, Ex-Ngn etc., have been made available to the students and faculty.
Library
The Kongu Arts and Science College Library is central facility to support the teaching and research needs of the college. The library has been over the years successfully catering to the needs of all the departments. The library has computerized all its activities.
