Library

The Manuscript Section was in existence right from the inception of the University. The Library has a collection of more than 42,000 manuscripts including quite a few on palm leaves, including 20,000 in Sanskrit, 12,000 in Tibetan and Bengali and also several Persian and Arabic manuscripts.

A great place for learning and growth

Law is one of the most reputed aspects of our society and hence Department of Law, Calcutta University has taken it up as its mission to produce the best advocates in all fields of law. The infrastructure and faculty- both are excellent. The weekly debates and case studies hells us grow as a student.

Another pillar of growth... College life...

(FACEBOOK PROFILE DEACTIVATED) We all expect college life to be the one we see in karan johar movies but it really doesn't happen that way. My college life wasn't that great apart from the bunch of good friends and a handfull of good teachers that I received. Thank you shyambazar law college for the law degree and some beautiful memories that has been created.
