The department library has a collection of over 3600 volumes, with a particularly rare literature of Marakkar collections. Beyond its impressive library collection the students can make use of the online resources of the University of Kerala. The collection of old rare, and primary documents relating to the study of Islam and Muslims of Kerala has attracted the scholars from different parts of the country.
