The department maintains UV-Vis, Steady state fluorescence, Time resolved Fluorescence, FT-IR, FT-Raman spectrometers and a multinuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectrometer. An atomic absorption spectrophotometer, C H N elemental analyzer and Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) are also available
