Department of Distance Education, Karnataka State Women's University : Fees, Admission Procedure 2025, Entrance Exam Accepted & Placements

Department of distance Education was established with a view to offer teacher Education programes at various levels coming under the same umberlla. At present B.Ed, M.Ed / Ph.D programes are being imparted. Both B.Ed & M.Ed programes are of one academic year duration. In due course of time the other teacher Education programes (Guidance and counseling, Special Education) will be launched. In such a context the school of Education plays a significant role in orienting and upgrading the various teacher Education programes there by facilitating a unique opportunity to the teacher Educators working at various levels in older to enrich, discuss, resolve the different problems and issues concerned to them. School's aim is to help the students to know and understand the philosophical and sociological foundations of education.
